I lived with "Josie" at Sacred Heart Convent in Waupun Wisconsin. It was my very first teaching assignment and besides being new to teaching, I was new to living outside of the large convent setting in Milwaukee. We couldn't talk much in those days, even at dinner. It was only allowed at certain times. Josie was with me all the way. She helped me with small things like making my bed the way we were supposed to.
