What a wonderful long life of loving service. May Our Beloved Lord hold her always in his loving care. This prayer from an Oblate Camaldolese Benedictine brother in New Zealand.

I lived with "Josie" at Sacred Heart Convent in Waupun Wisconsin. It was my very first teaching assignment and besides being new to teaching, I was new to living outside of the large convent setting in Milwaukee. We couldn't talk much in those days, even at dinner. It was only allowed at certain times. Josie was with me all the way. She helped me with small things like making my bed the way we were supposed to. Even eating had a certain pattern and certain expectations that I wasn't clued into. I will always remember Sister Josie. As I look back I realize how good she was to me in her very quiet way.
