Grandma was a strong a woman who challenged me to strive for the best in all I do. One of my fondest memories is lunch and a movie, she made me feel so special. I am glad my family had an opportunity to know her before her passing. We will miss her!

Grandma will leave such wonderful memories. I am so sad that she is gone but I know that she is so happy being with her family again.

There are many things that come to mind when I think of Grandma; her love for butter-pecan ice cream, her Christmas and Thanksgiving feasts, how much she loved her family, and her gift of hospitality to name a few. Most of all I'll remember her every time I make sauce and meatballs the way she taught me. She showed love through her cooking, and many people have gotten to know a little bit of Grandma over the years through the recipies she passed on to me. I can only hope to live up to her...

A flood of memories came into my mind when I heard about the death of Aunt Josephine. Mom and Josephine shopping and eating out nearly on a daily basis for many years. Later while mom could still go out but no longer drove, I would take the two ladies out to dinner at Reggies in the Falls on Friday nights, they loved the fried fish. Aunt Josephine liked to stop at the bank first and would help me find the drive thru window! She helped me drive too, haha. Both of those dear ladies...
