There are many things that come to mind when I think of Grandma; her love for butter-pecan ice cream, her Christmas and Thanksgiving feasts, how much she loved her family, and her gift of hospitality to name a few. Most of all I'll remember her every time I make sauce and meatballs the way she taught me. She showed love through her cooking, and many people have gotten to know a little bit of Grandma over the years through the recipies she passed on to me. I can only hope to live up to her examples of unconditional love. I'll miss you Grandma, and I love you, Sharon.

A flood of memories came into my mind when I heard about the death of Aunt Josephine. Mom and Josephine shopping and eating out nearly on a daily basis for many years. Later while mom could still go out but no longer drove, I would take the two ladies out to dinner at Reggies in the Falls on Friday nights, they loved the fried fish. Aunt Josephine liked to stop at the bank first and would help me find the drive thru window! She helped me drive too, haha. Both of those dear ladies would mother me even though I was 60 in those days! Mom loved your mom and visa versa, and the Cleveland Indians! Later, when mom couldn't remember or have normal conversations due to her dementia, it was very hard on your mom. So now the two are whole and well in heaven and hopefully will catch up on all their news. They had a beautiful friendship. God Bless all of you. Lovingly,
