Your battle took the complexities of cancer that I thought I understood and offered an entirely different perspective on them. As I enter a career attempting to help others, you stand as a beacon of inspiration that will continue to inspire me in ways no one else has.

I met you as baby when your father and I worked together many years ago. He and your mother loved you so much. Your parents, extended family and friends were so lucky to have you in their lives. Josh was always so excited to see people. Whether he was meeting you for the first time or seeing you again, he was genuinely always happy to see you!! He truly loved life and saw everything in a positive way. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see him on different occasions. I will always remember his love of life and people and his precious smile. My prayers go out to the families and friends of this young hero. All though I didnt personally meet Joshua Ive heard some wonderful stories and memories of the impact he left on his friends. He was a hero to so many! He sounded like a remarkable young human with an old soul.
