Together forever!

July 25, 2010

I an so saddened. I just heard of Joy's passing from Cindy Harrington. I will always remember Joy as one of the kids in the neighborhood that played together so many years ago. It's said time heals all wounds but the passing of a mother, daughter and wife is difficult to deal with. Please accept my condolences and may you all have the strength to overcome this terrible tragedy in your lives. Peace be with you all.

Jim Damian and Family,
This candle will never go out, Joy will see to that. She is just bringing more sunshine to heaven. Missed her since you moved to Arizona, and will continue to miss her. However she will always remain in our hearts.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

July 12, 2010

To The McLaughlin and Toce Family:
My deepest condolences to each one of you to the loss of Joy. Named perfectly because that is what she was a pure joy to grow up with and a great friend when your life was turned upside down. Joy was so thoughtful and given with her love and support last year in the passing of my sister Carol. Back in grade school Carol and Joy hung around and Carol would say Joy she is such a nut! She brought laughter where ever she went and always saw the light side of every thing. Her life for us may have been cut short but she surely lived a full life. I will cherish her support and love and frequent e-mails of stories of her and Carol. She was a confort in those e-mail and the inspiration of hope she gave me. I pray you all remember her as the lovable Joy she was, she loved each and everyone one of you as you all know. Family was it for her and her friends were family too. The emptiness will never go but the sunshine will break forth and tears will flow at times of no control or reason but, within you hang on to the Joy and laugh at all the life she lived and feared nothing from it. She is with Pam Kenny and Carol now and her family that passed on before and they are preparing a place for us. Rejoice in that she was apart of our lives. Be at peace knowing she is with her heavenly father and a place where time is not measured in time, rain nor tears don't fall and sunshine is always and streets are made of pure gold, we have something to look forward to and someone we love is there to greet us...Gods Blessing to you all and may you feel his comfort in these days ahead.

Warmly,

Dearest Damian and Family,
If there was a way to take away the pain you feel I would, I would do it for all of us who are feeling such loss and sorrow.... I never had the pleasure to meet your mother, but know that such a sweet sensitive person had to come from someone just as special... I hope Joy, my dad and Bry are all introducing themselves, and are enjoying the afterlife...We will always miss them, and love them! Stay strong, much love to you and your family.

To Dino and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss.
As I have grown older and questionably wiser, it has increasingly occurred to me that when something does not seem to make sense, by simply accepting that it doesn't makes sense (at least right now), we relieve ourselves of the deepened pain and torturous burden of trying to answer the gnawing and daunting question, "Why?"
Some day, all our questions will be answered and all will make sense.
For now, huddle close with family and friends and draw from each other. Only by concentrating on what is within our control can we ever get through that which is out of our control.
During this very dark time, know that many people, including yours truly, are here for you.
I wish you, Joy, and all your family peace, and in that regard, my fervent prayers continue.
Once again, I offer my very deepest condolences.
God bless.

Jim, Damien and family. I was greatly saddened to hear that my cousin Joy was gone. She will always be remembered with a smile. We had a lot of fun in our younger years at what we jokingly called Whitaker Park (our back yard), and then later on in Vermont when Joy and Dino and Paula would come up with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Rocco. Remembering the good times helps get us through these rough times. My sincere sympathy to you all.
May she rest in peace with her mother and baby sister.
