Joyce Page Grace Baird

I met Mrs. Joyce in 2007 when a large group of former Lake View High School Homecoming Queens participated in Lake View's Centennial Parade. Joyce Page was our first LVHS Homecoming Queen, crowned in 1948. Mrs. Joyce was a delight! She thoroughly enjoyed the HQ reunion with close classmates as well as meeting the latest group of Homecoming Queens. She was a lady of grace, dignity, and faith with a wonderful smile and lots of laughter.

Joyce was the most wonderful sister. she loved her family and was loved dearly. we had wonderful times together. I see her in my memory as a 16 year old leaving the farm and going to work at the pharmacy in Lake View. she never looked back. I thank God she had such a love for her family and for me and my family.

You will always have a Special place in my heart.We shared some good times together.You were one of the kindest people I had ever known.We will see each other again.I am praying for all of the family and friends.
