Joyce lives in my heart and prayers. Hers was a life well lived. I had many creative classes with Sister Joyce at Georgian Court. She taught me the beauty of calligraphy and patiently sat for me so I could paint her portrait.

I remember how happy Sister Joyce was to have a personal tour of The Starn twins art exhibit at the Met. She emailed me to hurry and see their amazing show, which I did.

I have many fond thoughts of Sister Joyce since first meeting her in 1973. At that time, I was Sister Joyce's Junior Homeroom President at Holy Spirit High School.
