Read MoreI have many fond memories of the times Shane, Steve and I spent visiting Joyce and Charlie on Amelia Island. Those years were Camelot. Joyce was an amazing cook, gardener, and seamstress. She excelled at everything she did. I will forever remember her love for family, her affection for animals, her love of the beach, and her gracious and classy demeanor.

A couple of years ago my wife and I visited Joyce and Charlie at Amelia Island. They were delightful and lots of fun. Charlie and I lived near each other on Stonington St. in Hartford and spent much time at Colt's Park playing many different sports. Charlie by far was always the best athlete.
