Dear Schuler Family, It's been quite a few years since I've seen many of you, including Joyce, but I always remember the warm receptions at your house and the friendly encouragement Joyce gave me while I was teaching some of you. What a wonderful person she was.

Obituaries are never a good thing, but when I saw Joyce, I felt a clear sensation of goodness. She lived to her fullest potential as she always did throughout life.
