Not sure what to say?

Joyce Whitlock hired me in 1982 at then VA Power. I have spoken to several other women that she hired into the "steno pool" and we all agreed that she made a lifelong impact on us. Many of us were young and met our future spouses through our jobs. Many of us spent our entire career at the company (and the company paid for all of my college). Joyce had a huge impact on her family, but she also "invested" in her work family too. Thank you for sharing Joyce with us.

Jan, So sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother, sending prayers for you all.

Very sorry for your loss. May God be with you and your family at this difficult time.

Aunt Joyce was the last of 4 sisters that seemed to be some sort of special dynasty. I have memories as a child of visiting Aunt Joyce and Uncle Tim on Thanksgivings and Christmas-- always such a favorite home to visit!! Always had a great time there... she will be sorely missed - just like uncle Tim. My condolences to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lots of love from the Sickinger´s!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Joyce and I worked together at Dominion Energy (Vepco/Virginia Power). We were friends for almost 60 year. She was such a good friend, and she will be missed. Rest in Peace, Joyce. We will think of you often.

Our family had the absolute pleasure of being next door neighbors with Mrs. Joyce. She loved having us over, anytime, to visit, splash around in the pool and sometimes just to say hi and give hugs. She had a huge impact on our lives as well as our childrens lives by providing hospitality, wisdom and sharing stories from her abundant past. We will greatly miss her but do know that she is in the arms of her husband and her savior, Jesus.

Joyce was one of the livliest womem I ever met. She was fun with us girls who worked together and would gather at her home for some fun times. She loved the Lord and now is wrapped in His awesome wings.

There was no one any sweeter or kinder than your Mom, Joyce. I was so thankful to be able to call her my friend and she will be missed. I am so happy for her and Tim to be together again because that will be a glorious reunion. Thank you Jesus.
