Joyce E. Wilming, 85, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Davenport Lutheran Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Joyce was born on August 3, 1939, in Savanna, Ill., to Paul and Renette (Sikkema) Swanson. She married Harold Wilming on October 31, 1987, in Davenport. Joyce worked a variety of jobs. She was a school bus driver for Bettendorf Schools, worked as the Unit Secretary Coordinator at St. Lukes Hospital in Davenport, taught flower arranging classes in Colorado, and most recently, painting classes at Davenport Lutheran Home.
She was a member of Beta Sima Phi, Iowa Laureate Gamma Iota. Joyce was also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Joyce filled her life and the world around her with all her exceptional talents.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; daughters, Lori Bauwens of Strawberry Point, IA, and Kris (Jon) Bergmann of Houston, Tex.; stepsons, Geoff (Joanna) Mouming and Greg (Brooke) Wilming; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild; sisters, Melody (Ron) Ringo and Vicki (Dick) Florer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, and son-in-law, Donald Bauwens.
