Not sure what to say?

Gwen, Tony and Maxine,
My deepest condolences to you and the family.....................
Toodie is one of the brightest stars in the heavens! Having known her all of our lives, I am blessed to have had her as a true friend and running buddy. Her caring and giving so selflessly set the bar for all of us. She had a smile that could melt moutains, eyes that always sparkeled with fun, and a laugh that rocked the world. A day never went by that she was not willing to help someone. If...

Juanita was a very special person, she will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers to the family. I attended the services which were so beautiful for a wonderful and careing person. I'm glad I had the preasure of working with her at DHS. Mira Santiesteban and Family

Juanita McCray gave so much of herself while she was here on earth. Now she is Heaven's angel. We'll never forget you, Juanita!

Juanita was always there for everyone in need. The foster children from El Paso County have lost their greatest advocate. She will be dearly missed.

Juanita, it was in 1965 when I first met you, and your children. It seem like only yesterday. I always call you Tudie, we all did that knew you. I remember the positive person, and smile. I remember how our paths were similar. You will be truly missed. My prayers go out to your Children and Family.

Gwen and Tony, your mother was a childhood friend, my deepest sympathy to your family. You are in my prayers.

Robert Fulghum writes, "I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge - myth is more potent than history - dreams are more powerful than facts - hope always triumphs over experience - laughter is the cure for grief - love is stronger than death."

Juanita McCray embodied the best of what humanity can provide. She generously offered her life to the world as a role model, friend, and protector. Along the way, she caught us all up in her imagination, myth, dreams, hopes,...

Juanita, you are truly missed. Thank you for your friendship and for all you have done for my family.

To Maxine, Gwen and Anthony,

Your sister and mother was my childhood friend. Later in life, she coached a group of us old "brokedown" basketball players, at the Douglas School reunions. What fun we had!

I will truly miss her infectious smile and biting wit! Be proud of her and what she accomplished.

My prayer is that you let God walk with you as you heal from this loss. He will always be with you.

Trusting in HIM,

Harvey J. Pendleton
