Not sure what to say?

hell i am wyatt bergeson one of her greaqt grandson i obed her and very much miss her

I worked with Judith licensing childcare centers in the late 1980´s. She was so very kind to me. She was a mentor and a role model. I respected her and admired her. I am richer for having known her professionally. My sincere sympathies because I know she is missed. Seeing all her grandchildren listed here, I recall her saying "I love children in mixed age groups!" I am glad she had that in her family.

Ms. Judy was always smiling and so sweet. My heart goes out to her family and friends - I'm sorry for your loss.

Judy was a dear friend and a person I greatly admired and loved. Her philosophy for Early Childhood Education was unique and creative, and had a profound positive influence on so many, including myself. There are many happy memories of swimming at her house, parties, family gatherings and good conversation. I will cherish her friendship forever . There could never be another Judy Bender! I will miss you, dear Judy, but never forget you.

I had no idea she'd gone to the Maryland Institute - I remember Mel giving me a ride home sometimes when I went there and had transportation. They both...

I have wonderful memories of crabbing and swimming off the deck at her house. Her home was filled with interesting treasures. When I had children, we would see her at the Children’s Museum in Annapolis. She was a wonderful lady and I was blessed to know her. Tammy (Montor) Ramos

So blessed to have known Judy. She was a bright light and a blessing to everyone who encountered her. She will be missed.

To Mel and family, I am deeply sorry for your loss of Judy. Her life's work most certainly left this world a much better place. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you heal.

Dear Mel, I am so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. You two made such a wonderful couple and contributed so much to the Arts and the Annapolis community. She will long be remembers for her contributions.
With sympathy to you and family, Patricia Barland
