JUDITH FRIEDMAN Obituary

FRIEDMAN--Judith Ann

"Judy," October 23, 1927 to March 10, 2017. She lived a full life, touching the lives of so many with her funny stories, sense of adventure, and love of life. Her career was as a financial manager and real estate investor. Born in New York City to Max and Mathilda Schorr, Judy married Isadore Cooper. Years later, she moved to Sedona, AZ where she met Marvin Friedman, a former Air Force colonel, whom she married and survived. For the past 20 years, Judy lived in Incline Village, NV, gathering lifelong friends of every age, who watched over her as if she was a member of their family. The Cooper family has lost a sparkly dynamic woman who drove a red convertible in her 80s. A founding member of the Cooper Family Circle she will be buried at the Cooper family plot in Farmingdale, NY. Services at Schwartz Brothers on Queens Boulevard, Thursday, March 16 at 11:30am. May we all strive to have the love of life and compassion that Aunt Judy did.
