I just found out and cant stop crying. Judi was quite the character!. Oh, how I will miss her. My deepest sympathies to her daughters.

The other day I spoke with a close friend of mine who needed some advice regarding dropping out of the nursing program. It made me think about Judi who kept after me and inspired me to complete the program. After two semesters with Judi who always made me blush(that's not easy being black) she gave me inspiration and hope. Aunt Judi I miss you so much. I can remember being on the phone with you and by the time we said goodbye 2 hours had gone by!! A day won't go by that I won't think about you. You have touched so many people. I'm going to miss your "ohhhhh Gracie's!" followed by your contagious laugh when we would make fun of my dad together. Your life ended way too soon. You are one of the most genuine people I've ever known. I love you so much. xoxo

Judy, you were more than my first (and second) Nursing PRof..you were my friend. I'll always miss all the talks and "gossip" that we looked forward to after class hours, and spending hours talking with you after I graduated from Nursing School. You were the second person on Earth to find out that I passed the NCLEX. You were a wonder to us all! You were a dear friend who supported us through many difficult times. I know you cared so very deeply for your friends and colleagues. You fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past few months. I hope you will watch over us and empower us with your faith in humankind as we struggle with our loss of a dear and faithful friend.

Mrs. Jaffe always had a way of bringing humor and fun to even the most trying days of nursing school. She made you remember why you were there & the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when it felt like we'd never get there!
