Not sure what to say?

So kind, so intelligent, humble and willing to share everything. I'm so sorry Julia, I didn't hear about this until today, I thought you were still recovering. We all miss you so much. Thank you for what you brought us.

Mrs Dweck was, to say it short, the best, most humble, and kindest teacher I have ever had the immense pleasure of meeting. She was intelligent, while being kind at a motherly level. I cried and screamed for hours when I heard of her untimely passing. My heart goes out to the Dweck Family, for having to go through this pain. I hope she's in the highest level of heaven. Thank you for reading this message, and if Juila is looking down from the heavens at me writing this, I just want to say that...

Mrs. Dweck is my favorite teacher and always will be. I was part of her last year of students, and attended novel writing and Math 24. In the middle of 4th grade I had to move to Indiana. Everything was fine until a friend called me and told me the sad story. I was so sad, bursting in to tears I thought about Mrs. Dweck. You will always be my favorite teacher.

Julia was an amazing educator who inspired so many. May the family take comfort in knowing what a difference she made for creatives, and that her legacy of engaging instruction will continue on. Peace.

She was an inspiration during COVID with her Jamboards. My students and I always enjoyed her Jams and appreciated the thought and care she put into them

Mrs. Dweck was my Gifted teacher all through elementary school. She was my favorite teacher. She created a space for people like me to feel at home and comfortable. She was always so kind and caring. I loved Gifted class. When I heard that she had passed I was devastated. My heart goes out to her family.

It was a joy to work with Julia on the creative projects she conjured up! She was always interested in finding ways for students to learn while having fun. Thank you for your passion and creativity and never-ending cool list of things I should explore. My sincere condolences to her family.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

On a global scale, Julia's passion inspired so many teachers & her creativity positively impacted the lives of countless students. Sending love & strength to her family & close friends during this difficult time. Thank you for everything, Julia. I promise we will all make you proud. RIP, my friend. -Tara (a teacher in MI)
