Julia M. Grenier

Although I lost touch with Julia after high school the impression she left from the memories at Hohokam and Coronado will remain sweet forever. A kind heart such as hers lives on endlessly in the hearts of all who were blessed with the chance to know her. She truly was the kindest, sweetest most positive person I remember from school. May God lift up her family in their time of sorrow and remind us all that she will always be with us, in our hearts and memories.

Julia was such a great inspiration to us in our time of need when it was discovered that I also had breast cancer. We didn't talk much about it but when we did she help me to make important dicissions and to keep fighting no matter what. I met Julia at Corodado High School in choir and seen her in many dramas. I do remember her smile and strong leading persona that she had. She was always friendly and had a gentleness that made you want to get to know her.

I just wanted to let Julia's family know how truly inspirational she has been--not only to me, but to everyone she touched! I knew Julia from Hohokam and Coronado...and the last time we met we talked about her cancer. She was so focused on her life the the lives of her friends and family that she truly made the cancer seem like just another detail--something that needed to be dealt with, but that would have no bearing on her determination and outlook.
