I was a friend of Julia's at the Ursuline school and learned of her passing today. She was a wonderful person. I remember her smile, her sense of humor and her kindness. She was truly a beautiful person. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I went to high school with Julia, and only learned this news today. I was stunned when I saw her name. Julia was honeslty the sweetest, kindest person in our class. She was very smart, calm, serene, strong and an absolute beauty - a picture of grace. She and I always had a good laugh too. I am deeply sorry for what must be a tremendous loss.

I just found out about this from the UVA Alumni mag. So, so sorry. I remember Julia from our sorority days, including hanging out with her "big sister" Deb Mogan, and Julia was simply a sweetheart. My deepest condolences
