I was a friend of Julia's at the Ursuline school and learned of her passing today. She was a wonderful person. I remember her smile, her sense of humor and her kindness. She was truly a beautiful person. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I went to high school with Julia, and only learned this news today. I was stunned when I saw her name. Julia was honeslty the sweetest, kindest person in our class. She was very smart, calm, serene, strong and an absolute beauty - a picture of grace. She and I always had a good laugh too. I am deeply sorry for what must be a tremendous loss.

I too was a friend of Julia's from The Ursuline School and we graduated together in 1986. I am at a lose for words but want to convey my condolences to Julia's entire family. I want you to know that Julia was a gentle young woman with a big heart and I will never forget her angelic smile. To the Sullivan and Wetmore Families,
I had the honor of attending OLA with Julia. We (the OLA class of 1982) just had a reunion on June 14, 2009. We wanted you to know that Julia was thought of and spoken of fondly throughout the day. We attended a Mass prior to the reunion and a special prayer was said for her. We also presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers that sat on the alter in honor of Julia from the class of 1982. She was a remarkable person and will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched.

To all of Julie's family,
I am a family friend who grew up with the "Sullivan sisters". We spent lots of time in The Bronx and in The Hamptons together with our parents. I have very special memories of Julia and her sisters who loved her so much! I know that her parents, cousins, Aunts & Uncles along with Doug and the kids will miss her more than I can imagine. She was a shining star and now she is a beautiful Angel. I cannot imagine the pain that you feel. I am sure that my Mom Carol will watch over her in heaven for sure because she loved her so much! I had the pleasure of being Julia's friend in grammar school. At graduation, we voted her "Best Student", "Most Likely to Succeed", "Most Ambitious", and "Most Likely to Become a Millionaire"! It was a sweep! With everything I've heard about Julia's more recent life as wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, it is comforting during this painful loss to know that she lived each day exceeding even our lofty expectations of her as she redefined success along the journey!!
