To the Ritter/Winslow Family. I am sending my deepest sympathy to you. He was such a nice person. The community will greatly miss him. I terribly upset to hear of Julian's death. He was my Big Brother at the Pi Kappa Alpha house at Chapel Hill. George Vick, Norfolk, Virginia

I was so very sorry to hear of Mr. Winslow's passing. I worked for him at the oil company at various times while in high school doing odd jobs and seasonal things at Christmas when he would send Christmas gifts to his customers. He was always a very kind and personable man. Your family has my deepest sympathy.

I'm so sorry to hear of Julian's passing. I always looked up to him over the years and still remember some of his stories and what a gifted storyteller he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Betty Lane and family,
We were so sorry to get the news of Julian's passing. Patsy Styron informed your High School class. We will keep you in our prayers. Sincerely,

Betty Lane and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Julian's passing. We enjoyed getting to know him at the beach. As others have mentioned he seemed a kind and gentle man who we had hoped to get to know better. Your family is in our prayers.
