Julianne "Julie" Rissmiller

Julianne 'Julie' Rissmiller of West Chester Julianne "Julie" Rissmiller (nee Groller), 66, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 5, 2014. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was born and raised in Allentown, and attended William Allen High School, graduating in 1965. She then attended and graduated from Allentown Business School. She married Richard W. Rissmiller on Aug. 10, 1968. Julie's greatest joy and pleasure in life was her family, and in that she included her many close friends. She was an avid reader, especially historical fiction, and loved cooking and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frieda, who she loved with all her heart. She spent her life with her loving husband, supporting him and assisting him in his life's work as a pediatrician. She was extraordinarily loved by and was proud of her children, Richard Jr. and his wife Andrea, who are physicians at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and her daughter Kathryn, and her husband Carlton, who recently moved back home from North Carolina. Her greatest joy however, was her grandchildren, Claire, Liam, Kylie, Will, Lowery, Lane and baby Dylan. She was the greatest mother and grandmother in the world and will be deeply missed. A Mass will be held in her honor at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester. Auer Cremation Services of Pa., Inc.
