I just learned this evening of the passing of my friend Julie. She was a truly amazing Woman and a true light in the world. I will miss her, and will forever be blessed by the good fortune to have known her. I love you Julie!

I met Julie back in the early 80's, the days of Ron & Ron on the radio and a time when a group of eclectic radio DJ's, stand-up comedians and musicians used to run in the same social circles. She was starting out her business, yes...with that one limo.

I still recall the first time I met her, and it seemed like I had known her forever. That is who she was...warm, friendly, kind and funny.

I did not have the honor of meeting Julie, except through the stories shared with me by her mom, Diane. She was an inspiration to me as is her mother, who is never without a smile and words of care and compassion. My thoughts and prayers are with Diane, her family, and the many people who have been touched by this incredible lady.
