Julie A. Magee1947-2021

Julie was an excellent doctoral student and brought many insightful perspectives to class discussions from her extensive clinical experience. Her Doctor of Science dissertation involved investigating the effects of an early intervention on bone health knowledge, perceived efficacy of behaviors, and behavioral risk factors in adolescent females. Professor Magee was an amazing educator, clinician, and student advisor who shared her life´s passion of being a PT. She presented her PT classes at AIC in a way which were especially comical and unique. She was very energetic and showcased great enthusiasm always. I was blessed to have her as my advisor throughout therapy school. I will always be grateful of the positive impact she made in my life. Im sorry to hear of her passing. Sending her family and friends love.
