Julie "Lynn" Stancliffe

We, Riko and Keishi Hotsuki do not know how to thank you enough. You have been so kind to help us since we came to New York in 2005 and you were like our American mother. We still remember numerous Thanksgiving Days you have invited us in with your own family. We remember you drove all the way to Westchester to join Mia´s grandparents day. We also remember your strong leadership to make Saga - Glens Falls sister city partnership. And above all you were the best friend of Kimiko - Riko´s...

Lynn was a special person. She always sought to bring joyful times to friends and family. She inspired many young girls through her dedication to scouting. Her pottery was exceptional. Anyone fortunate enough to know Lynn has wonderful and special memories of her.

Aunt Lynn made everyone feel welcome. She had a way of throwing a party that allowed you to let loose and have a great time. Her get togethers hosted people from many different walks of life, who never would have met otherwise, and a great time was had by all. She was also very generous to so many people, and had no need for anyone else to know how she had helped you. I will always remember her holiday baking.

She made excellent Swedish meatballs in addition to all her other talents. Jane Carusone

Aunt Lynn brought me to the Saratoga Ballet when I was about 8. I loved all dressed up and getting to go with just her.

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Lynn was playing with clay in her studio. I remember it being such a treat and feeling so special.
