Julie Turner Obituary

March 9, 1941 - April 29, 2017 Julie Anne Turner, 76, of Longmont, CO passed away April 29, 2017 at The Bridge Assisted Living. Julie was born March 9, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA to William Stuart and Dorothy Henrietta (Swanstrom) Greding. Julie grew up in North Hollywood, CA. She participated in the Girl Scouts in her younger years. She graduated from North Hollywood High School and then from Brigham Young University, where she majored in education. She taught elementary school. Julie married Arthur Edward Turner III (Ed) on December 17, 1966. Ed passed away on June 22, 1993. She moved from Lynnwood, WA to Longmont, CO in 2005. Julie was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to read, spend time with her sons, daughter-in-law, five grandchildren who lived nearby, and visit with friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and sister-in-law, Pam Greding. Julie is survived by her sons, William E. Turner, Timothy M. Turner; grandchildren, Rachel L. Turner, Sarah E. Turner, Emily K. Turner, Laura A. Turner and Ginny G. Turner of Longmont, CO; brothers, Jim Greding (Karen) and John Greding. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 1721 Red Cloud Road, Longmont, CO, 80504.
