Jeannine,Anne & Family,
Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to all of you at this very sad time. Jeannine, I don't know if you remember I worked along side of you at the old Bradlees on park st. in Hartford in the early 80's. I fondly remember Julien and what a kind hearted person he was,I believe I went to Prince Tech with Anne. My condolences to all of you at this sad time.

We are, of course, very sad. A few of us remember his remarkable role in providing safe, cheerful, affordable shelter to a generation of journalists. His "offspring" have all left the Courant and are spread around in very diverse and interesting jobs. Carol Giacomo, Nancy Metcalf, Garret Condon, Barbara French and I all cherish his special role in the history of Connecticut journalism.

Dear Jeannine, how inadequate are words to express our feelings of sadness over Julien death. I'm simply without adequate words of comfort. Julien held a special place in our hearts. Our many years of friendship will always be cherished memory. I.m thinking of you, Jeannine and hope you'll find a small masure of comfort in knowing there are many people who loved Julien and who love you. Your friend Theresa and Cheryl Dionne
