Julio Benardo Bilbao

We lost a really good one when we lost Julio. He was one of those unique human beings who worked to elevate all of us around him; a strong man, filled with compassion.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr Bilbao passing. I loved having him as a teacher and I learned so much from him. May he RIP.

I came as a visiting author to the middle school where Julio was principal, many years ago. He did what he had done many times before, all the way back to the time I was a 123 pound third-string freshman guard on the Cascade football team...he elevated me. Julio had a way of making us all feel proud of ourselves, no matter our status. That puts him in rare air.

I loved hearing the stories and remembrances of Julio. It just scratched the surface of his character. The legacy he left will be far- reaching. Love to the family. Praying for you all.

Sending much love and condolences to the family and especially to Julie. What a man, what a life. You all must miss him terribly and must be so proud of his accomplishments and his humanity. The world needs more people like him.

We were sorry to hear about Julio's death. We would visit many times when Julio made it to Cascade to check on the fences at Bilbao ranch. We will miss those visits, but we believe that he is knocking heaven's doors. May God Bless Julie and the Bilbao Family.

I remember you being my voice principal and protecting me when I needed. Bless you Mr Bilboa. You were a wonderful person.
