I met June in 1991 at the Hanover Red Angus farm. We were introduced by a mutual neighbor who knew we both loved birding and the great outdoors. June in turn, introduced me to others who had formed The Natural Area Guardians in Jo Daviess County and were about to start the first of many prairie restorations in the area.
