Not sure what to say?

June was a dear friend and we were members of the book club, originally led by Helen Pearl, of blessed memory. I was shocked to read of her passing, and offer condolences to everyone who knew her, especially her daughter, Lisa. I would very much like to be included in a notice of the memorial service mentioned in the newspaper. She called me weekly when my late husband died, and we shared many stories throughout the years. I loved the way she exuded energy when she entered a room, how she...

I was never her student but during all 4 years at HPHS I do not remember not seeing Mrs. Rosenblatt with a smile.

I knew June as a loyal and engaging docent at the Wadsworth Atheneum. Her smile and gentle demeanor will be missed by her museum family.

June was always the first at a new museum show or at a new film. She could be counted on to be interested in what was important culturally. She will be missed.

June was my mom's comrade until her passing ten years ago, and has been my friend for all my adult life. I say "friend", but she has always been like family. Hostess of the majority of my Seders, the majority of our Thanksgivings, and the "intellectual balance", to some of my political endeavors. June exuded kindness. She had a passion for so many things, and a curiosity for things that were outside her realm. May she and all the loved ones she touched have peace.

Mrs. Rosenblatt was my sons' Special Education Angel when he was in the second grade. She accomplished so many goals with him and he loved her! She even taught him how to type and he was only seven! We've spoken of her often over the years. She was truly a remarkable educator and will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Prayers for her and her family.
