Karen Ann Garretson

I am saddened to have just found this out on the internet.... Karen was related to us by her marriage to Bob, a first cousin of my mother's (their mothers were sisters) She was warm, loving, and generous with her time, and her home. I was blessed to have spent time over the years, in her/their home, bringing my mother to visit. I want to say to her children how sorry I am for their loss, and in such an unexpected way.... Don and Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful person who made the best baklava! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My pup Allie and I volunteered with Karen and Shelby at the Fallon library and the Fernley library. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I know the many therapy dog teams she worked with will miss her, and Shelby, dearly. My condolences to her family during this sad time.
