To Karen's Family:
I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Karen many years ago from Obersheimer Glass. Karen was a very dear friend of my husband, Bill Booker. Karen always looked after Bill and was so very sweet to myself and our family. After losing my family in 1985, Karen continued to keep in touch with x-mas gifts every year to my daughter, Shannon. I couldn't say enough about Karen's generosity and compassion. We kept in touch at x-mas time and she always spoke so highly of her family. You were all so lucky to have such a warm, caring and loving Mom and Nana. She will be missed, but very fondly remembered. With Sympathy, Adell Norton (Booker)

Dear Dwayne, Michele, Scott and Kathlene,
I was very saddened to hear about your mom and sister. Karen and I have been friends since we were babies. We shared Uncle Bud and Aunt Pat. Aunt Pat was my father's sister. I have so many memories of the times we would be together at family gatherings.Your mom, my sister Valerie and cousin Rick had lunch together a year or so ago and shared all the old stories. What a wonderful afternoon we had.
Treasure your memories.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Kim has kept her in my thoughts and prayers these past few days.
While these next few days, weeks and months will be difficult for you during your loss, I hope that you find that it does get easier as time goes by. Right now it is hard to imagine, but soon you will find yourself with a smile on your face remembering her and all the wonderful memories that she gave you. Hold those memories dear. Those memories will soon ease the grief that you feel right now.
Your Mom was great. She was humble, she was funny, she was a generous woman, she always had something good to say. She had a smile that gleammed through her eyes, she was special. You know that. That's how I will remember your Mom. Soon I hope you find that "smile" for your Mom wouldn't want it any other way. She is in a wonderful place right now. Bless you and your family.
