Karen was always so kind and welcoming to me. Erin and I have been friends since childhood, and I´ll never forget how Karen went above and beyond for my family when my grandmother passed away - picking up me and my siblings, and opening her home to us with compassion and unconditional love. Karen was my favorite work person ever! Nobody had a bigger heart and nobody did it for the kids more than she did. She loved her family. She would always talk about Ray, Kadie, and Erin. She was very proud of them. I still hear her laugh, see her smile, and will always think of her as such a lovely and wonderful person the rest of my life. I learned a lot from her; how to be a better teacher but most importantly how to be a better person and parent. She always asked how Doug (my son) was...
