I remember Karen from my time working at the cancer center at UKMC from 1986-1992. I'm sorry to hear this news. I always liked Karen. My heart is deeply saddened and I pray God will comfort her dear family and friends during this time.

Karen impacted all lives she touched. That was many. I remember when she left UK for another position - it was a big loss to the nurses. She was a special person, mentor, and instructor. I am so sorry for your loss.

A very nice lady and a nurse's nurse. She is a saint among nurses and was always about the profession of nursing and what was best for patients. She could also give great advice and understand the stress that we sometimes faced. RIP good lady.
