I am so sorry to read about the loss of your Mom. I have the fondest memories of your Mom, not only as a child, but as an Adult when I would cut her hair. A true "lady's lady"! Thank you for sharing her with the rest of the world.

Jane, I fondly remember staying at your house during grade school. Your Mom was always so kind and cheerful and welcoming! I often felt visiting at your home was like a very special retreat. May the comforting arms of the Lord hold you all close to His heart and be with you always. You're in my heart and prayers.

I have many fond memories from the years during college (1956-1961)when I worked for the Hanifins during the summers. I remember Karis as a very involved and talanted lady. We were treated like family. I had and have great respect for both her and Virg.

We'll miss you, "Mom Karis" and "Grandma Borger"! You have had a special spot in my life since I was a little girl playing with Susy, and then you became a part of our family after Fudge died and my mother died, and you married my Dad!
