Not sure what to say?

It's 2025 and I just now read about Karl Anderson. My deepest condolences to John and Jim Anderson and your family. I do remember Karl , always with a smile on his face.

Karl was a good friend to the Carlson family. He was aways upbeat and a joy to talk to. Fours years after his passing we speak about Karl often. Simply put, he was a good guy with big heart.......John & Koko Carlson, Canada

The Community Scholarship spear headed by Karl continues to thrive. Thank you Karl for your great vision for the future. Rest in Peace.

Karl was my long time friend who will always be remembered for his volunteerism. He loved this comunity and worked hard to make it a better place for everyone.

Karl was a man completely committed to community, full of ideas and the energy to help bring many of them to fruition; he was a mentor to me in my first early years as United Way CEO, and helped us in many ways. Love you, Karl. You will be missed.

Thank Karl for the leadership he has provided to make Pierce County and Tacoma livable. Thank you for the number of jobs with wages that could support a family.

Your commitment to volunteerism is best demonstrated by the Willie Stewart Community Scholarship that originated by your wisdom and love for our community.
Rest in Peace my Friend.

My deepest condolences to the family and to CTC. My husband worked for 15 years there and respected Mr. Anderson. We loved the fishing derby's and the family connections at CTC. God speed. Thank you

Karl was the catalyst to organize and develop the Willie Stewart Community Scholarship for 20 years. The scholarship was to reward seniors from the high schools in Pierce County for volunteerism hours certified by an organization.
The United Way of Pierce is the parent body to make the selection and hold the funds.
Thanks to Rick Allen, former CEO of United Way for his support of the vision.
I am grateful that the current CEO of United way. Dona Ponepinto has continued...
