Karl was a man completely committed to community, full of ideas and the energy to help bring many of them to fruition; he was a mentor to me in my first early years as United Way CEO, and helped us in many ways. Love you, Karl. You will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family and to CTC. My husband worked for 15 years there and respected Mr. Anderson. We loved the fishing derby's and the family connections at CTC. God speed. Thank you

Karl was the catalyst to organize and develop the Willie Stewart Community Scholarship for 20 years. The scholarship was to reward seniors from the high schools in Pierce County for volunteerism hours certified by an organization.
The United Way of Pierce is the parent body to make the selection and hold the funds.
Thanks to Rick Allen, former CEO of United Way for his support of the vision.
I am grateful that the current CEO of United way. Dona Ponepinto has continued the relationship.
A big thank you to the donors who have made the Willie Stewart Community Scholarship a success.
