Mr. Bauer worked with my dad Rudolf E. Rothemund. I remember going to his home with my Dad and Mom and my brothers and sisters. His son Ron was a HAM radio operator and I still to this day remember his call numbers: WB8HEM. And my sister Lynn and I talking to some people in Antarctica!! May Mr. Bauer rest in peace.

Dear Dorothy and family,Rick, Basil & Sage are so saddened by the news of Karl's passing. Dorothy, you were a wonderful wife and the two of you were such a beautiful example of a loving couple. As your neighbor and friend, I especially loved to see Karl all dressed and well groomed early every morning as if he were on his way to a meeting at work. What a class act he was... He was so kind, soft spoken, had a sweet sense of humor, humble and very intelligent! He adored & respected you Dorothy, and I especially loved when I would call you on the phone he would always answer as the man of the house would. Then he would call your name with that darling accent "Daratheee you have a call from Linda". I smile as I write this. I send you my love, hugs and heartfelt sympathies for your great loss my love....
Please take comfort in knowing he is with God and no more suffering. Cherish your many many wonderful memories in hopes that you find some peace as the days go by....I love and miss you always, Linda Philyaw xoxo
