I was shocked to read these sad news. Karl has been a close friend for more than 40 years. A great and independent mind, an original thinker who never joined the crowd and never hesitated to be politically incorrect. One of the few who were truly "larger than life size". Dr. Rozman will be remembered by his many years developing voluntary contributions to the Threshold Limit Values (TLV) committee for the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and its sister German MAK commission. Dr. Rozman's work resulted in occupational exposure limits for dozens of toxic chemicals encountered in very diverse working conditions. I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Rozman's passing. I enjoyed working with him and getting to know his wife and daughters. There were many things to admire about Dr. Rozman, he was very smart and confident in his convictions.
