KAROL DePERRY Obituary

Karol Ann DePerry, 83, passed away January 9, 2012. She was born on June 11, 1928 in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Williamson) Shupes. An executive secretary at RCA in Burlington, MA for many years and retired to Port Orange, Fl. , 22 years ago. Her favorite past times were golf, bridge, the beach, knitting, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and the Gators. Everyone who knew Karol well knew how much she loved fudge especially Aly. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Doris Sears (Edwin); daughter Kim Fuller (Doug) of Contoocook, NH; daughter, Cindy Galeotalanza (Andrew) of Nashua, NH; son, Gregg DePerry (Heidi) of Bow. One of the greatest blessings in her life were her grandchildren, Kerry (Tim), Lori (Andrew), Kathryn (David), Douglas, David, Alyssa, Gregg Jr. and her great grandchildren, Dyllan and Ava; and one niece and nephews. She held a special spot in her heart for Robin Carey, who she thought of as a daughter. Karol had many friends in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida who will miss her. A funeral mass will be celebrated, 8:30 am Monday, January 16, 2012, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 4550 Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange. Memorial contributions can be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 2381 Mason Ave., Suite 100, Daytona Beach; Fl. 32117 Condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfuneral.com Arrangements under the direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, FL.
