Thinking about Katie today. Remembering her beautiful smile. Hoping she is living an eternal life of peace...

I am in total shock as the year is 2021 and I am just learning that one of my best childhood girlfriends, Katie, has passed away. I never knew the adult Katie but rather the bright eyed young girl and teenager with the beautiful long blonde hair. We went through school together and roamed the hills in Del Mar back and forth from out two houses. Laughing, playing, sharing secrets and dreams. She was a beautiful soul who deserved a much longer life. I have thought about her often over the years...

I will always remember your kindness and generosity and your smile will never cease to exist. I know that you touched everyone's life you ever met and the world is a better place for the time you were here.

My husband is Danny's cousin, and we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely, One-of-a-kind Kate. How our hearts hurt for her parents and her family when we heard the news. We will keep you all in our prayers.
