Not sure what to say?

Dear Eshelman "Kids,"
I send my love to all four of you and your families. Macgregor shared the news of your dear mother's passing. Your mother was a precious lady. My mother, Helen Hay, adored your mother, and she was always one of my favorites in the "Bridge Club" group. She wrote me beautiful notes on a number of very special occasions in my life, and I cherished her messages as I enjoyed my time spent with her. She was always so warm, sincere, loving, sensitve, interested and...

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love & affection for my Mother Katherine--

God bless all of you & keep you!!

Ted & Jan Eshleman & Family

Dear Ted and family,
It's only see ya later for Katherine. She will be missed, but surely she is much happier now. I'll bet she's romping around with Beasie(sp).

Another of the Springhill tribe - remembering your mother for all the beautiful things that she did and the classy and gracious woman that she was and will always be. I was so sorry to see of her passing in the paper today. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out - and she even let me "babysit" Liz when I was in highschool. Taught me how to cook raviolis - a lifetime addication. Her smiling face will always remain alive in my heart.

Ted- So sorry to learn of your Mom's passing...she was one of my Mom's best friends...(Helen Biggerstaff Hay).

Dear Eshleman Family:

I want to say how sad I was to hear of Katherine's passing; she was truly one of the kindest, warmest people I have met. After our family moved away from next door, on Springhill Road, we would come back occasionallly at holiday times to say "Hi". It was such a feeling of calm and "home"--Katherine would be offering any one who wanted, a cup of tea, or a cookie, and she always took the time to see how you were doing, and what new was going on in your life--she...

My dear Ted, Robbie, Tommy and Elizabeth,
You surely know how much your mother meant to me. First when the Troffeys introduced us when we moved in next door, then always after that. Her constant friendship and neighborliness were a bulwark against life's hardships. She was a steadfast friend of the Christie family and we both relished watching each other's families grow up. We were as close as a phone call wherever life took us and I will treasure memories of her always.
With much love,

Dear Eshleman Family,

Stuart Christie here, writing from Hong Kong. My love and condolences to you all.

Your Mom was my godmother and her front room (facing the creek) a place of calm when our own family was going through challenging times next door in the late 60s/early 70s.

I have so many happy memories of Springhill Road and so many of them in your Mom's home. Her door was always open for me--first, when I was little and, later, when I was grown up. I always came...

Dearest Ted, Jan and the entire family - I am so sorry for your loss of your mother - I know how much she meant to each of you. Know that my prayers are with you - and my heart is with you too. God bless each of you with strength, love and joy of her love always.
