Katherine "Kitty" Hickey

I think I met all of the Hoy kids in St. Marys at Justine's, & again at Michaela's wedding which Jus & Margaret were kind enough to invite me to. I went with Kaddy. I met Joe in the 1970s on the 4th of July in St. Marys when they were he & Kitty were visiting Kaddy who was the most fun on the 4th of July. I am so sorry about Kitty's death. The obituary was so thoughtful and truly captured her wonderful life. I know that she will be missed by everyone in the family. I have happy memories of Kitty from long ago.

Dear Tom, Emily, Jeannie and Shep, I am so sorry Kitty passed, she was so much fun and this past year, after I lost my husband, she kindly called often and cheered me up, at least we had a few chances last summer to share a fine white wine! I am relieved that her struggle is over but she deserved many more years, she was a trooper!

One of my fondest memories of Kitty is she sold all her pots and pans when she moved from Warson road. Kitty said they will have cheese and crackers for dinner or go out. I thought it was a brilliant move!
