Not sure what to say?

Susan,
I don't know if you remember me. I used to live in your mom's neighborhood a long time ago. After I moved out of the neighborhood and into my own place, whenever I would visit my dad and also walk around the neighborhood for fresh air and exercise, I would see your mom outside tending to and working in her garden. I would make it a point to stop and talk with your mom. Miss Kathryn was such a wonderful listener and she would give me such great advice. We're all going to miss her....

Dear Michael, Mary, and Susan,

I am so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. She was a beautiful woman and an outstanding mother. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know her. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace.

God bless all of you,
--Caroline Avakoff Hood

She finds joy and creates beauty in the present moment rather than regretting the past or fearing what the future may bring. She says with the Psalmist...
This is the day
which the Lord...
