Kathryn Breaux Obituary

Kathryn Hennington Breaux was born on July 1, 1971, and entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 27, 2023. Kathy was a proud wife, mother and new grandmother. She loved entertaining her friends and family and was always the life of the party. She had a larger than life personality and never met a stranger. She worked for AC Lewis Properties for more than 20 years as a manager although they were more like family. Kathy is survived by her husband of 16 years, Dusty Breaux; sons, Brantly (Haley) and Logan; grand babies, Hayes and James; parents, David and Donna Hennington; sisters, Kim Tugwell (John), Kahne Girouard (Kirk); parents-in-law, Melvin and Judy Breaux; sister-in-law, Allison Cangelosi; nieces, Riley and Lexie; nephews, Chase, Benjamin, and Preston; special friend, Michelle Kimble who was her best friend and dear to our family; and a host of other loving family members and friends. Kathy is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Rodney and Lillian Cortez; paternal grandparents, B.D. and Claire Hennington; uncles, Frank Hennington and Bill Stewart; and aunts, Diane Hennington and Norma Stewart. Visitation will be at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S. Harrell's Ferry Rd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 10am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Louisiana Lion's Camp, www.lionscamp.org (Diabetes Association).

My name is Mandi, I had the privilege of helping Mrs Kathy with permits from time to time. I work for Livingston Parish Environmental Health.
I didn´t know her well but I just had to let the family know that Mrs Kathy always left us smiling and laughing. She was sassy, full of life and had us in stitches. My heart breaks for her family. My prayers are with you all. As you can imagine days can be gray working in a permit office dealing with the public, Kathy was a ray of sunshine and unforgettable.
Prayers through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
