Kate was a lovely person. Always kind and caring. A wonderfully talented artist. I am the proud owner of two of her acrylics. She was kind enough to remark one for me. I adore her work. It makes me smile every time I gaze at them. So fortunate to have known her and to have a bit of her in my home. May she Rest in Peace. Much love and comfort to her family and all of her loved ones.

One of my BEST memories of Kate was being in her kitchen when she lived on Palmer, she was preparing lunch for our kids in the back yard, and she started singing, "The Rose" by Bette Midler. She encouraged me to join her and we sang the whole song to one another. She had a voice that I am sure she is sharing with the Angels. Kathy Berg - my very very bestfriend through most of Smallwood Drive, just down the street. We galloped around Smallwood singing, sharing, and when the idea hit us, running up to HOJOs for our ice cream cones.
