Kathryn Dodd Obituary
Kathryn Grace Dodd, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Born October 17, 1924 in Brookville, Kansas to James Daniel and Bessie Moore Richards. She graduated in 1941 from Salina High School in Salina, Kansas. After graduation she began working at Fort Riley where she met and married her life companion, Thomas James Dodd in 1951. She faithfully traveled with her "TJ" around the world during his military career moving, as she proudly stated "nineteen times in eighteen years", until finally settling in San Antonio, TX where she raised their six children. Her husband preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage. She is survived by their children: Jo Ann Dodd of Cleveland, OH, Douglas Dodd of San Antonio, TX, Donald Dodd (Maura) of San Antonio, TX, Marcie Dodd of San Antonio, TX, Merri Boffice of Columbus, OH and David Dodd of San Antonio, TX ; grandchildren, Nina Bates (Benjamin), Doran Boffice of Columbus, OH, Alyssa Dodd, Taylor Dodd of Cypress, TX; and great-grandchild, Theodore Bates. Her life will be celebrated privately in the presence of family, where she will then join her beloved TJ at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

I PRAY FOR PEACE AND COMFORT FOR THE ENTIRE DODD FAMILY.
I AM BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN SUCH A KIND WOMAN. WHEN WE HAD LUNCHES TOGETHER ALL SHE DISCUSSED WAS HER KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES. SHE LOVED YOU ALL SO MUCH! I BET SHE IS THE HAPPIEST ANGEL IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW WITH THE LOVE OF HER LIFE!
DAVID- I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU ANYTIME YOU NEED UPLIFTING! SHE COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE LOVING SON!
