To Mark and your family,

I am so sorry that you have to bear such sadness. Your Mom was lovely, and I remember from our grammar school years at The Advent School how engaged she was with the kids. A very special woman!

To the White family,I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I had the honor of working for her and the Mayor and it was one of the highlights of my time in Boston. Such an interesting lady to talk to, I learned a lot about politics during that time! She was kind and thoughtful and so good to me over the years. I was very fond of her and will always remember my time there. My deepest condolences to you all at this difficult time. May you find comfort, in knowing your father and her are together again.

Kathryn was a soul and figure of singular grace. Her life's example lifted up the highest values of human goodness and devotion and love and doing what is right. May Kathryn's legacy be a perpetuation through the generations of these values in action beginning with those whose paths were blessed by her presence. And may Kathryn know peace, love, growth and protection in the spiritual realm. May God bless her always,

Mark, Caitlin, Beth, Patricia & Chris: Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of your Mum. I know that death is never easy to accept, but the pain does ease with time, as you know too well. Your Mum is now reunited with your Dad. Remember, she will live on in all of your thoughts and memories. I loved my godmother; she was such a strong and classy lady. Words, no matter how kind, cannot mend your heartache, but those who care and share your loss with you wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. I know that God will shed his choicest blessings on y'all and get you through this difficult time. Keep strong and God Bless! With Much Love & Sympathy,
The McGoverns (Cousin KERIN, Billy, Connor and Regan)

I wish to express my condolences to Kathryn's children, sister and brother and grandchildren. As a younger cousin, I admired Kathryn and how well she handled her family and political life at a very challenging time in Boston history. She was a major asset to her husband as he dealt with the many issues in the city. Kathleen Galvin Sullivan

To the White Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your late parents. I had the great honor of working for your Father for six years. During that time, I got to know your Mother and can say that she was the nicest, most kind and gracious person that I have ever come across in politics.
