Kathy E. Sigafoos, 73, of Upper Nazareth Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 14, 2025 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Sigafoos Sr. to whom she was married to for 28 years before his passing on October 3, 2024. Born in Fountain Hill, Kathy was a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Pauline Klotz (Graver).
Kathy grew up in the Nazareth area. She was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Nazareth, and a graduate of Nazareth Senior High School Class of 1969. Her career started by working at various textile mills. She later provided a nurturing environment for many children by running a daycare from her home. After the daycare, she worked in accounts payable and receivable at Northampton Country Club and Bethlehem Ford, respectively, until her retirement in 2024.
Alongside her husband, Kathy opened her heart and home as a foster parent, offering safety and compassion to many children in need over the years. Her commitment to helping others defined her life and created a legacy of love.
Kathy enjoyed moments of relaxation, often found playing puzzle games on her computer or watching her favorite television shows. Her laughter and warmth filled the lives of those around her.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Robert Schoenberger, Jr., (Sabrina) of Nazareth, Kimberly DeBlasio (Daniel) of East Stroudsburg and Jason Cordero of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Jacob, Chloe, Emily, Skipper, Miranda and Kevin; sister: Barbara Sarley of Forks Twp.; foster sons: Joe Miles and George Tony Duryea; canine companion: Tina; nieces & nephews. Kathy is predeceased by a daughter: Kelly Cordero and brother: Paul Klotz Jr.

I will always remember the family gatherings for picnics and Christmas started by our Aunt Kathryn, continued by our Uncle Billy at Nazareth Firehouse and finally graciously hosted by Bob and Sabrina for many years. I will cherish our meetings at the Salem UCC picnics this past summer when we recalled so many good times together.
Our sympathy and love to all the family.
