Not sure what to say?

I am in tears right now, as I read about this for the first time. Ms. Myrick was my Latin teacher for 3 years in high school. She was the only teacher I ever had that I felt had any interest in me and my success, and didn't just see me as another student to get through the year. The Latin I learned in her class still benefits me to this day, and the life lessons she taught me will stay with me always. High school was a pretty rotten time in my life and I don't know if I would have made it...

Mrs. Myrick was my favorite teacher. I had failed Latin with another teacher my freshmen year and was worried but determined to take it again. I got Mrs. Myrick and she helped me so much. I ended up taking two more years of Latin and got my advanced diploma. She also always said, "you are loved and special" to everyone in class. I can say, that was one of the most impactful things any teacher has ever told me. And she didn't say it as a one off. She let us know everyday, that we were. I am 36...

"You are loved and special." The lesson of a life time by one of the purest souls ever. In my heart, she will be remembered forever. God bless you my Teacher for Latin and more importantly life.

Katie was one of the kindest and most caring women I have ever known. She loved her family, her students, and her animals. She was a wonderful colleague at Clover Hill. I will never forget her.

Oh Kenny! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. As I'm sure you can guess, I can no more pick a favorite memory than star in the sky. Your mom was so special to me and will always be a special gift.

She adopted me without question the first time we met and I'll always be thankful for her influence in my life even for the short time I had her The positive ripples she created in life continue to spread worldwide through those of us who knew and loved her

Ms. Myrick was my most favorite teacher at Clover Hill. She made us really appreciate the Latin language. We may have tested her patience, however she showed us her love. So sorry for your loss. "celebramus vitam"

Kenny, so sorry to hear of your mom's passing! I know my mom thoroughly enjoyed working with her and she was much loved at CHHS. Sending love and confort to you all.

She was a wonderful teacher and even better human being. Rest in peace.
